When you use the contact form, you voluntarily submit the information you choose to send, including your name, your email address, and the content of your request.

This information is used only to read your request, determine whether it fits the professional scope of the portfolio, and respond if it is relevant.

The contact form is intended only for first professional contacts related to Canada. It is a temporary contact channel. It is not intended to serve as a work channel, support channel, permanent follow-up channel, or archive.

The form may be disabled when I am not available for new requests.

Messages that are not related to a real professional request in Canada, or that do not clearly show that connection, may be ignored or deleted without reply.

I do not guarantee a response to every message received.

A lack of response may mean that the message was not retained, does not match my availability, is outside the scope of the portfolio, does not fit the professional purpose of the portfolio, or has been deleted in accordance with this policy.

I do not keep messages received through the form as archives in the portfolio inbox.

Messages are generally reviewed and then deleted from the portfolio inbox or contact system that I control within two to five business days.

Unless an exception is necessary, messages are not kept in that inbox or contact system beyond five business days.

A message may be deleted sooner if it is off-topic, unwanted, automated, abusive, non-professional, outside the scope of the portfolio, unrelated to a real professional request, or not clearly related to Canada.

Messages without a clear connection to a professional request in Canada may be deleted without detailed review and without reply, sometimes within approximately two business days, unless an exception is necessary.

If a request leads to an active professional conversation or project, communication may be moved to a separate professional channel. Later exchanges may then be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for communication, project follow-up, security, evidence, recordkeeping, or compliance with a legal obligation.

Unwanted, automated, abusive, harassing, threatening, fraudulent, repeated, or non-professional messages, or messages unrelated to a real professional request, may be ignored or deleted without reply.

Some messages or associated information may be kept temporarily when necessary for security, abuse prevention, evidence of an incident, a legal obligation, a privacy-related request, or recordkeeping related to an accepted request or project.

When a message is deleted from the portfolio inbox or contact system that I control, it may no longer be recoverable from the data I reasonably control. This deletion does not prevent certain technical providers from temporarily keeping their own technical logs, backups, or operational data according to their applicable policies.

To operate the site, deliver messages, protect the form against spam, and prevent abuse, the site may process limited technical data related to the request, security, delivery, usage limits, or diagnostics.

This technical data is used only for the proper functioning of the portfolio, security, abuse prevention, message delivery, and technical diagnostics.

It is not used for advertising, marketing, retargeting, commercial profiling, or cross-site tracking.

The site may remember certain preferences in your browser, such as the selected display theme or reading mode.

These preferences are used only to improve the display of the site. They are not used for advertising or marketing purposes.

The portfolio includes an assistant named Lumina.

Lumina is designed to answer only questions related to my background, professional profile, skills, projects, experience, and the information presented in this portfolio.

Lumina is not a general assistant, confidential channel, work channel, support service, or way to transmit sensitive information.

Questions sent to Lumina are processed by OpenAI via API in order to generate a response. Technical measures and guardrails are used to limit abuse, guide the use of Lumina, and protect the site. Despite these measures, no automated system can guarantee that an attempt to bypass, misuse, or abuse the system is impossible.

Interactions with Lumina may be processed by OpenAI according to its applicable policies, terms, and settings. For more information, see the OpenAI Privacy Policy and the OpenAI API data documentation.

Do not send Lumina sensitive, confidential, medical, financial, legal, professional secret, password, API key, credential, or other information that you do not want to transmit to an external service.

Lumina is not intended to receive sensitive personal information or confidential information concerning a third party, an employer, a client, or a non-public project.

Requests related to privacy, access, correction, or deletion of personal information must be sent through the contact form, not through Lumina.

This site uses technical providers necessary for the operation of the portfolio, including hosting, security, anti-abuse protection, message delivery, email transmission, and AI functionality.

These providers may process certain technical information or information submitted through the site only to provide the services necessary for the operation, security, delivery, or diagnostics of the portfolio.

Some processing may take place outside Quebec or Canada, depending on the providers’ infrastructures, policies, and applicable requirements.

I do not use these providers to sell your information, conduct marketing, retarget advertising, or perform commercial profiling.

This portfolio may contain links to external sites or profiles. When you leave this site, the privacy practices of the external site apply.

I put reasonable measures in place to limit collection, restrict access to the information I control, and regularly delete contact messages.

No transmission by Internet, web form, email, AI service, or external provider can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

Avoid sending sensitive, confidential, or unnecessary information through this site for a first professional contact.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that you have submitted through this site, subject to applicable limits.

These requests can only concern personal information that I still hold in systems I reasonably control. If a message has already been deleted in accordance with this policy, I may no longer hold the requested information and may not be able to recover it, correct it, or delete it again.

To be reviewed as a privacy-related request, the request must be sent through the contact form and clearly begin with the following title in uppercase:

Without this minimum information, it may be impossible to reasonably identify the message or information concerned. In that case, the request may not be reviewed as a privacy-related request and may be closed, ignored, or deleted without further exchange, within the limits permitted by applicable laws.

I do not conduct broad, general, or speculative searches in portfolio messages. A request that is vague, anonymous, impossible to verify, missing the exact sending date, missing the email address used, repetitive, automated, abusive, threatening, harassing, or used to create a permanent communication channel may be limited, ignored, or deleted.

I do not provide personal information to a person who cannot reasonably demonstrate that they are the person concerned or that they are authorized to act on that person’s behalf.

A privacy-related request may be kept for the time necessary to review it, respond to it, document its handling, ensure security, prevent abuse, or comply with a legal obligation.

For any privacy-related question or to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information submitted through this site, you may use the portfolio contact form.
